EMBEDDED SOFTWARE ENGINEER

Brolis Semiconductors is a high-tech company within Brolis Defence Group, engaged in developing and manufacturing of new generation semiconductor optoelectronic devices and electro-optical systems. BROLIS manufactures and offers products for the defence and security applications, including state-of-the-art laser aiming pointers and illuminators, SWIR and thermal sights, surveillance systems, night vision equipment, filters and related optoelectronic devices, also heavily used in Ukraine.
We invite EMBEDDED SOFTWARE ENGINEER to join our team and contribute to a safer world!

Key Responsibilities

Work with state-of-the-art military electro-optical devices like thermal, night vision systems, also used in Ukraine,
Development of firmware and software for new products and maintenance of existing ones,
PC-side tools development,
Preparing technical documentation,
Development of manufacturing/testing tools.

What we expect

2+ years of experience in embedded C/C++ development.
Knowledge of embedded Linux development environment.
Experience in containerized development environment.
Knowledge in one of high-level programming languages like Python, C#, Java, JS, etc.
Experience of software version control system (Git).
Ability to read schematics. Understanding basic electronics components/blocks.
English language (spoken and written).
Critical thinking, ability to solve problems, good self-management skills – working with minimal supervision.
FPGA and VHDL knowledge or understanding LWIR cameras systems as an advantage.
Clean records. The selected candidate will have to obtain permission to work with classified information and will be required to submit a medical certificate form 049a (a medical examination certificate same as the one necessary for a permit to acquire a weapon).
